For this card I used the same bold color palette as in the card I posted yesterday. However, the color proportions are different, as is the intent of the card.
For some reason the tune "With a Song in My Heart" kept playing over and over in my head, so I took it as a sign for my card. I decided to create an "I Love You Always Card". Now I believe that a declaration of love should get noticed and can be a little sassy. I don't care if you are professing love to a new beau, a lifelong partner, or a dear friend...it should be memorable. Therefore, bold colors fill the bill in my book. Hence, my utilization of the bright colors from yesterday's card.
Once again, due to the precious little time I have had to craft, I challenged myself to make my I Love You Always Card without any stamping. And with that, the eye popping color creativity began...along with the humming of my inspirational tune.

Card Front
Bold and bright! As you can see I used the striped paper for my color scheme and selected the yellow for the base card. It is scored across the top so that the card opens from the bottom. I tied in my song by using an embossed musical score (thanks to my Cuttlebug embossing folder) for the background layer of the card face. The striped paper matted with yellow cardstock is a backdrop for the sentiment panel.
I printed the sentiment "I love you today, tomorrow, always" on white cardstock matted with yellow cardstock. To add interest to the sentiment panel, I sponged it with aqua ink and decorated it with hearts punched from yellow and orange cardstock. I obtained further dimension by popping the panel slightly off the face of the card.
Angle Views of Card Front to Show Dimension
In the two pictures above, you can see the dimension added to the card via popping the sentiment panel.
Card Inside
A simple inside panel of white cardstock decorated with a band of the aqua embossed cardstock and finished off with a heart punched from the striped paper.
The envelope I made to compliment the card is also very simple in its decor. I sponged an orange heart on an aqua and orange marbled background in the lower left hand corner. As is my custom, I lightly sprayed the image with sealer to protect it while traveling through the postal system.
Final Card and Envelope Combo
It's eye popping bold and beautiful. Makes up for the lack of sunshine outdoors today.
